Welcome to Westwood Country Club
As President of the Board of Governors I want to welcome you and thank you for exploring the possibility of Westwood Country Club becoming a key part of your life. We all believe that our club is the premier family-oriented Country Club in the Northern Virginia region. My family and I have always considered Westwood the perfect establishment for members and guests enjoy the Clubhouse as a second home, for sumptuous dinners and casual lunches, for business events, fitness training, an after-round cocktail, or simply to be in the company of friends enjoying all of what Westwood has to offer.
The material within this brochure was created by the Membership Committee to introduce you to the amenities you will enjoy as a member of Westwood and to help you quickly see what the benefits of becoming a member are. As an introduction, these materials will give you the breadth, but not the full depth of what Westwood Country Club has to offer.
At Westwood you will see that we have an active calendar of events which are widely enjoyed by members of all ages. My favorite events are some of the larger ones like the July 4th fireworks, the Holiday Member Open House and the family New Years Eve Extravaganza. Our golf and tennis professionals host a full slate of activities, ranging from the annual Opening Day tournaments, Member-Guest tournaments, Club Championships, etc… to themed events such as Night Golf or the Margarita Tennis Social.
Elegant and opulent, yet warm and welcoming, the clubhouse is a focal point of Westwood, a haven for relaxation, enjoyment and indulgence. Rather than over-the-top grandeur, the emphasis is on intimacy; it feels more like a home than a clubhouse. The clubhouse sponsors a variety of social events, ranging from Family Nights, Ladies Nights, comedy night and wine tastings. This is an exciting year for Westwood as we near the completion of major renovations to our golf course and pool/tennis clubhouse. Westwood is a financially strong club with a membership that has chosen to accept the inconvenience in order to remain a first class country club.
