Weddings & Events

Whether you are planning a wedding reception, bar or bat mitzvah, retirement party, corporate meeting or a golf outing, Westwood Country Club provides you with everything you need from an elegant facility to extraordinary menus to make your event memorable and successful. Westwood has space to accommodate your banquet, party or meeting, no matter the size. The Grande Ballroom seats up to 400 persons and can accommodate up to 350 if elegant stations and entertainment space is required. The Founders Room, the Westbriar Room and the Cup Room are also available for smaller parties, dinners or meetings.

Westwood will provide all food and beverage needs for your event with the gourmet artistry of Executive Chef Jason Parker. If you are not a member, we prefer that you have a member of our club sponsor the event for you. If you do not have a sponsor, however, we would be happy to help you make the necessary arrangements to hold your banquet at Westwood. For more information, please call the main office at 703-938-2300 or send inquires to banquets@westwoodcc.com.

Menu Selections

Our private banquet dining menus are only a sample of our culinary expertise. We would be delighted to set up an appointment to tailor a special menu for you and your guests. Choose a menu button below to download a PDF menu.

Event Criteria and Deadlines

Guaranteed headcounts, vendor information and deliveries to be made to the club, as well as a list of items you may be bringing, should be turned into the banquet manager two full weeks prior to your event. You may add to your guaranteed minimum by no more than 20 persons up to three full business days prior to the event by 2:00 p.m. Minimum guaranteed attendance must be received within 72 hours of the event. If attendance falls below the guaranteed number, the host will be charged for the guaranteed number.

Vendors

Westwood and its banquet manager would be happy to provide you with references for vendors we have enjoyed working with for photography, floral arrangements, musical entertainment, pastry chef, and more.

Decorations

All decorations and items displayed within Westwood Country Club must be approved by the banquet manager. The manager would be happy to meet with you to go over decoration designs and rental information.

Deposits and Payment

Westwood Country Club requires that all billing information be turned into the banquet manager in writing at the time of booking. Westwood cannot guarantee an event date without a deposit. Deposits will only be refundable if the event is cancelled a full six months prior to the date of the event; otherwise, the deposit will be non-refundable and non-transferable. Upon receipt of the deposit, the banquet manager will issue the host an initial contract for the event. Hosts are encouraged to pick up a copy of our event policies and procedures from the banquet manger.

Westwood Country Club only accepts payment in the form of a personal or business check. We do not accept credit cards.

Service, Tax and Labor

A service charge of 20 percent and a state and local tax charge of 8 percent will be added to all food and beverage charges. In addition, a labor and/or room fee may be charged to cover the use of the room, set up and break down, and cleaning expenses. For certain events requiring additional bartenders, coat room attendants, or chef-attended stations, an attendant fee also will apply. A valet parking fee will apply to all events with more than 100 guests.

Menu and Pricing

You can receive Westwood’s banquet menus either by visiting the club or by mail. Please call the banquet manager to set up your appointment. Menu prices and availability are subject to change without notice. For certain events, Westwood may be able to contract the current menu price for the host, but only for an event that is scheduled no later than 12 months from the date the contract is issued. Price and availability cannot be guaranteed for events that are booked more than 12 months in advance.

Damages

Any damage done to Westwood Country Club, its property, and/or its grounds during the course of a function by the host, function invitees, or contracted outside vendors or suppliers will be the responsibility of the host and the sponsoring member.

Westwood looks forward to serving all of your catering and special events needs.
